This course illustrated the workflow to perform a structural analysis of a 3D COMPLEX gearbox without any simplification via meshless FEA, meshFree. The model was imported directly after drafted by draftman and proceed to simulate immediately. A full contraints were applied to the location where the screws were bolted. A torque with magnitute of 200 N.mm was applied to the rotating shaft. The whole processes from importing the 3D model to post-process the result took approximately 10 minutes.
